1. Planters
This is one of the most common uses for recycled tires. If you have a small vegetable plot or want to add some new flowerbeds to your landscaping, an old tire could be just what you need. Because the tire absorbs a lot of heat during the day, it makes an ideal environment for seedlings to grow. During the winter months, the tires can easily be covered to protect young plants from the cold.
2. Footwear
In the 60s, recycled tire sandals were hugely popular, and in many African countries, old tires are often used to create sandals or replace worn out shoe soles.
